Terms of service

Last updated 30 October 2026

These terms apply when you use CargoLab at cargolab.app (the "service"), run by CargoLab.app in the United Kingdom ("we", "us"). By using it you agree to them; if you do not agree, please do not use it. Questions: support@cargolab.app.

1. The service

CargoLab helps plan how cargo fits into containers and ULDs. It is free to use; some features need a free account. We may add, change or remove features, and some may be marked as early or experimental. If we offer paid plans in the future, prices and billing terms will be shown before you buy, and you can cancel at any time with access to the end of the paid period.

2. Your account

Keep your sign-in details to yourself; you are responsible for what happens under your account. You can stop using CargoLab at any time and ask us to delete your account.

3. Your plans stay yours

The plans and data you put into CargoLab belong to you. You allow us to store, process and show them only as needed to run the service for you — for example saving them, Auto-Pack, and the share links you create. Anyone with a share link can see that plan, so only share what you are allowed to share.

4. Fair use

Please do not misuse the service or help anyone else do so — for example by trying to get into other accounts or systems, overloading or disrupting the service (including Auto-Pack), or using it against the law.

5. Our software

The service and everything in it — the software and source code, the packing and optimisation algorithms, the ULD library and its data, the container designer, the design, text and graphics, and the CargoLab name and logo — belong to CargoLab.app and its licensors. You may use the service for your own cargo planning. You may not:

  • copy, resell, license or otherwise commercially exploit any part of the service;
  • reverse-engineer or decompile it, or try to work out its source code or algorithms;
  • scrape it or extract its content or data (including the ULD library) by automated means;
  • build a competing product from any part of it; or
  • remove or change any copyright or ownership notice.

6. Feedback

We welcome every comment, problem report and idea. If you send one, we may use it to improve CargoLab, with no obligation to you.

7. Check your load plans

CargoLab gives planning help, not a guarantee. Results may contain errors or miss real-world limits. You remain responsible for the actual loading of cargo and for checking every plan against the weight, balance, dimension and safety rules that apply to you.

8. Availability and your copies

We try to keep CargoLab running and your data safe, but we cannot promise it will always be available or free of errors. Keep your own copy of important plans (CSV export).

9. Liability

The service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent the law allows, CargoLab.app and its owner are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses, or for lost profits, data or goodwill, arising from your use of the service.

10. Ending use

We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms or puts the service or other users at risk, and will tell you where we reasonably can.

11. Changes and law

We may update these terms; we will try to give at least 30 days' notice of important changes, in the app or by e-mail. Using CargoLab after a change means you accept it. These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
